12 of the 20 highest mountains in Austria, including the second highest - the Wildspitze at 3774m - as well as 7 high alpine Alpine Club huts can be found around Vent. You are also in the largest glaciated area in the Eastern Alps.

This makes us the perfect starting point for challenging tours to the numerous 3000m peaks. But those who prefer easier hikes will also find a variety of paths to walk along here.

Please note: ankle-high hiking boots with good tread soles are essential for hikes in alpine terrain.

Take a walk in the clear winter air, use the numerous cross-country ski trails in the surrounding area or simply relax and enjoy the gigantic mountain panorama on our terrace.

The Vent ski area is ideal for beginners and families, but also for experienced skiers and snowboarders.

The double chairlift transports tobogganing enthusiasts comfortably from Vent to the start of the 5 km long Stablein toboggan run.
